1. Total 13,479 samples collected for COVID-19 test in Arunachal Pradesh so far. 63 are active positive, including three army personnel, from West Kameng & results of 1,627 cases are awaited.
2. With detection of COVID-19 positive cases in Miao, Bordumsa and Diyun circles of Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh govt. has restricted movement of people between Miao and Vijoynagar with immediate effect, except for medical exigencies and essential services.
3. In Manipur, total number of persons in Government quarantine centres till date is 13,415 and in community quarantine centres is 24,986.
4. Surge in COVID-19 cases in Manipur as 55 more test positive; total number of cases is now 366 with 293 active ones.
5. Mizoram’s COVID-19 tally rises to 104, two new cases detected; total active cases are 103.
6. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland climb to 156; active cases are 126 while 30 persons have recovered.
7. Kohima Diocese and Muslim Council Dimapur put on hold opening of places of worship; said that Churches & Masjids will be opened only after wider consultations.
8. Sikkim Health DG-cum-Secretary Dr. Pempa T Bhutia vide a morning press release informed that a total of 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the State ; all the infected persons are returnees and the youngest patient is 2 years 3 months old.
